Adam Cole

In an exclusive interview with Sports Illustrated, Adam Cole confirmed that he and Dr. Britt Baker are no longer a couple. The news comes after months of social media speculation and rumors about the status of their relationship.

Cole, who joined AEW in 2021, and Baker, a long-time AEW star, were considered one of the company's power couples. They were prominently featured in the backstage reality series AEW: All Access and both won the inaugural Owen Hart Foundational Tournaments.

"We are no longer a couple," Cole admitted. "But when I say that we both still love each other and are still friends and still so supportive of each other, that could not be more true. I think the world of Britt. I want her to be as happy and successful as humanly possible, and I know she feels the exact same way about me."

Cole also addressed the online discourse surrounding their split, expressing his disappointment over the negative comments and urging fans not to pick sides.

"Britt is absolutely one of my best friends. She’s someone that I love dearly and will always love dearly, and there is no ill will between me and her whatsoever."

Despite the split, Cole and Baker remain supportive of each other's careers and continue to maintain a strong friendship. Fans of both wrestlers have expressed their sadness over the news but are hopeful for the future success of both stars.
