AJ Styles Clarifies Decision to Reject TNA Hall of Fame Induction

AJ Styles enters the ring

AJ Styles clarified that it was his decision, not WWE's, to reject the induction into the TNA Hall of Fame. Reports had initially suggested that WWE declined the offer, but Styles took to Twitter to set the record straight.

"I appreciate TNA, but I don’t want to go into any Hall of Fame as long as I’m still an active wrestler. My choice,"

He emphasized that he still sees himself as an active wrestler and doesn't want to be inducted into any Hall of Fame while he is still competing.

Styles, who was a cornerstone of TNA Wrestling for over a decade, held multiple titles including the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Despite his decision, Styles did make a video appearance to honor Bob Ryder during his induction, showing his respect for the promotion and its history.

Fans have expressed mixed feelings about Styles' decision, with some understanding his desire to remain active and others feeling he deserves recognition for his contributions to TNA. Regardless, Styles' legacy in professional wrestling is undeniable, and many fans hope he will eventually be inducted once he retires.
