The match was intense, with both Jericho and Briscoe giving it their all. Tables and ladders were used as weapons, and the action spilled outside the ring multiple times. Briscoe nearly secured the victory with an impressive elbow drop off a ladder and through a table, but Jericho's stablemate Big Bill interfered, chokeslamming Briscoe over the ropes and through two tables at ringside.
With Briscoe down, Big Bill helped Jericho climb the ladder and unhook the title, making Jericho a two-time ROH World Champion. The victory marks Jericho's ninth world title in his illustrious career.
After the match, Tomohiro Ishii made his presence known, confronting Jericho and setting the stage for future challenges. Ishii's return adds another layer of excitement to the already heated rivalry.
